Passenger airbag

Ive got to take the dash top off, And need to disconnect the airbag, I normally do this by taking the negative off the battery, However, Can i just put my key in the slot on the passenger side door and de activate it this way and contine to take the dash off as normal.

I have a allen key battery terminal, and i think if i take it off again, The grub screw isnt going to last so want to leave it on tight.

Yeh i'd just risk it. I unplugged both seats, desoldered 2 pre tenny's and removed airbag ecu all with battery connected. But mind that airbag, they will hurt if triggered!

lmao, it's up to you pal if you want to run the risk of releasing an airbag, I can imagine that will be more trouble to sort out than removing a battery terminal.

I removed my clio dash 2/3 times without worrying about the airbag, as long as your careful cannot see any problems
