passenger seat

well the airbag has gone off on my passenger seat and im wondering as to what i have to replace.

because the airbag and service light are on do i need a new module or can i have my current one reset?

Also if i repair the seat which i know i shouldnt but i can do very easily ( grandma skilled sewing machinist lol) will a reset module or new ecu mean the lights on the dash go out?

this has happend to alot of people, ul probs get away with sewing the seat, but i think people on here recomend a new seat. been reading up on this. same thing happend to me on both sides. hit a pot hole with my passanger seat and driver seat slid on black ice and hut a leccy box
