instead of buy all the stuff form screwfix or can you just buy one of these
think all you have to do is plug it in using the existing plug

i tried this but it didnt work, the maplins transformer started to get really really hot and the PC (compared to using it with the screw fix one) was very slow.

Go to any builders merchants and buy one, you will be able to buy plugs to suit as well.
