Just finished the campaign, its not that bad actually - obviously multiplayer is where its at but i enjoyed it. There were a number of issues though, framerate dropping, lots of stutter on the last level and things like enemies walking through walls and things popping in and out like crazy. Felt a bit unfinished, a bit like online.

Still a lot of glitches in this game. No reload animation, no colours above team mates, so they look like enemies. Then earlier on it wouldn't let me re-spawn after dying. Oh and lots of sound glitches.

i think the jets and helicopter's get too many flairs. its basically impossible to take one down once there unlocked.

Not if you keep firing, you'll catch em out eventually.

Key is for a few blokes on the ground to fire aswell as other aircraft as the IR's don't regen quick enough.

Haha you got extra? It needs more than one guy on the ground or 1 guy an a jet.

Or if they stay in range you can fire missiles quicker than their IR flares regen.

If you see a friendly jet chasing down an enemy chances are he'll have lock. You fire, flares he fires boom!

Easy peasy.

Or just get in a jet yourself and deal with it. The chain guns are lethal, take tanks out in 1 long strafe or 2 if needs be.

My game always seems to load a little slower than other peoples as i choose the jet but someone else always gets it. I have taken them down but they always go out of range so have to wait to fire again.

Don't think it effects your win/loss if you quit at the start as its the only time you can. Same as BC2

I'm getting zero satisfaction out of this game other than how it looks. I'm not bad at COD but this takes the biscuit.

And how the hell do you leave the game other than when in one?

Its certainly improved sinced i've unlocked some decent weapons and accessories, but i agree waddle, i'm not getting a buzz from playing it. Personally i think kill streaks have a lot to do with it - ie trying to get another kill before you can call in a cobra when you've got zero amo certainly gets the adrenaline pumping. For me, I just haven't experienced anything like this from playing BF3 online yet. In reality i will probably ditch this when MW3 arrives.

I think you can only leave the game when in one - but it doesn't count as a loss.

Cheers clart, i'm not getting it wrong then. Don't get me wrong it looks and sounds awesome but lacks something for me, other players seem to be able to snipe from miles away with small machine guns too.

finnaly managed to give this some decent attention this weekend, up to level 5 now I think. Not quite confident enough to join you guys in the hardcore matches yet though.

Only using the Assualt or Recon class at the minute as just kinda finding my feet/learning the maps etc. It is funny seeing people with loads of kills but I'm only getting 3/4 and dieing about 7/8 times and still finishing above them in the tables as I'm actually healing/reviving and caputuring the points.

I must admit though the jets do seem rather pointless?! Every game I've been in with jets they just fly about not really doing much. More of a distraction than anything to actually have to worry about. The choppers are leathal buggers though.

Sniping seems a bit harder than BC2 (not a bad thing), just gonna take a little more practice on that one me thinks

The problem with the jets is you have to unlock the ground missles, so there's not a lot you can do whilst you don't have them, lol.

ah that would explain it lol, I was just flying about not realy achieving much. Was funny when someone got a lock on me so I started pulling out some topgun manouvers....untill I pushed my luck a bit too far and slammed it into the ground "pull up, PULL UP DAMN IT" BOOOOM

Far too used to playing with a mouse and keyboard, going to take a while I think.
