PC vs PSX

So, I have this Computer in my car which does GPS, DVD etc.. and what not.. all through a VGA Touchscreen 7" Screen.. which sits on the dash..

Im thinking about selling all that, and replacing it with..

A Playstation 2 with two Sunvisor screens and two headrest screens.

The PC screen is dash mount so I have to move it all the while so it dont get nicked.. and its becoming a bit much - Im at the point where it dont work 100% at the moment (need a Windows reinstall..) and I just dont use it, so its just sat doing nothing.. and its annoying me.

Now, with a PSX and the screens.. theyd all be hidden all the time, so that dont matter.. AND I could still have DVDs on (which is what I do mainly).. Ok, I wont have Nav but I dont use that as much as I thought I would.

If I had a PSX I could just leave it and when I need it, just flip visor screens down.. and use it.. much easier..

If I sold the PC I could probably buy all the screens.. so I could do it quite easily.. on the other hand, I dunno whether I should get rid of the PC.

Hmmm the set up you have now is very practical.. and very useful, you need to just stop being lazy and do a reinstall! if you put all the screens in the visors and such, its a bit too show like, it will be a bit to close to enjoy it too dont you think? And yes, you wont have sat nav.. which to me is alot better than "being able to watch a dvd" which you can also do at the moment!!

Keep what you have.. its a good setup.

Adjust

... every time, and have cables around cus they have to get hidden too.. it bugs me so so so so much.. and it wont blend into the dash properly.. at all.. so its just easier to get rid and go for a PS2.. which, will do what I want it to do anyway which is DVDs..

On the other hand, Id lose a bit of money on the PC, but it would pay for the new screens.. so...

Maybe I have.. I dunno

I talked myself into a PS2 a few weeks back.. but then back to the PC.. I could get a remote for the PC and use that for DVDs and only bring out the other screen for GPS..

That way, I only need to buy 4 more screens and put them on the PC.. and use the remote to operate it..

u need a slap lol, like i said on msn i think u will loose money if u sell the pc on... and it would be easy enug to glass fiber the screen in to your top dash, which i said i would help with.

Mate, forget the psx.. get an xbox in the car, you know it makes sense.. dvd/games/divx or xvid moves, mp3 jukebox with full screen visualisations.. custom dashboard on the xbox the list goes on.

Daz, if the xbox is a no (god knows why but your choice) then atleast wait for the psx.. its a while before its out but at least it would be worthwhile.
