PDA Sat Nav Opinions

Depends if you only want the pda for sat nav and nothing else, would be better if it came with Tomtom. That one doesnt say what software is with it!

i do believe the aldi one is the same as the halfords kit, which has medion navigator on it.

That is a good price, but I dont know how good the software is.

After seeing jons satnav, I went and bought the same, its an HP iPaq 4150 with tom tom bluetooth, its excellent. I can recommend that. If you want a demo I can show you how it works.

Id do some more research into the software that comes with it. Can you add things to it like Speed Camera overlays like you can with tomtom etc.

tom tom is good, but the lack of postcode search is annoying, and it doesnt list the surrounding road names.

you can download a postcode search program, and the speed camera thing is good, but their are many frustrated tomtom users, and TBH their are better software packages, but tomtom is the market leader due to its massive marketing.

i do believe u can overlay the camera map on the medion navigator, if u yahoo/google it.

i was looking into the aldi pack, which is the medion one a while back, and it is possible.

You can add a postcode search to it very easily.

Bargin ar £450 with TomTom 3, Bluetooth GPS, in-car holder and 128 MB card. I do need a bigger card but it puts you on. The PDA also has a 1.2 mega pixels camera on it. I also got a DVD with 1500 games on it, different themes, movies, software and loads of other sh*te.

What units that?

I still think the 4150 and car kit seems a good bad, just want to know what comes in the car kit.
