PE2's Blowing Out?

Just had a text from the cousin to say that 3 of the PE2's on his 182 have blown out and his had to have the car transported home.

Now I've never heard of anything like this happening and as yet don't have any pics, but just wondering if anyone else had this hapen to them?

this happened with 2 of my tyres on my spider years ago within 20 meters.. the insides were down to the wire :-/

never heard of any pe2 specific problems and had them on 3 of my 4 cars

Has he driven over something that has punctured the tyres ? A police stinger maybe

Lol not that I know of.

Has told me it was only two at once, the other one went a couple of months ago.
I'll get him to check the two that are remaining, he didn't mention which 2 went.

Sure hes putting the correct pressures in them? because if he putting to much in them when they are getting warm on longer drives they will want to explode.

Not a clue, what's the recommended pressure for them on a 182?

33 front 31 rear from what ive read and thats what i run mine at

PE2 on my gf's car blew out this week and another has a small 'egg' on the tyre-wall :dapprove:

All about kerbing, girl-style, IMO...
