It can do if it keeps registering the fault.

New pedals are roughly £75, they come as a sealed unit.

Have you had it cleared? May have just been a one off fault.

ye i ve had it cleared but every time i put my foot down on the accelerator and take it off the light comes on and registers the fault, after having it cleared the following faults came up.

1. DF071 TRACK 1 PEDAL SENSOR
2. DF027 SOLENOID VALVE CIRCUIT

any one translate these to english?

Basically reading your other thread perhaps you have got a faulty pedal sensor

Yup seems like a pedal position sensor fault.

i had this on mine, also said the throttle potentiometer as well

The pedal sensor is £47 + Vat from renault
the potentiomenter - throttle body - £199 + Vat from renault

Ive cleaned my throttle body with brake cleaner and it seems fine now, mine was going into limp mode. Im currentyl trying to search for a throttle body and pedal sensor as i want to change them as my throttle response has gone
