I need a few bits and bobs and looking for some advice.

I need to attatch wires inside the car after re-routing them. Whats best to do this?

I also need a battery cut off switch. Any reccomendations?

Bonnet pins. I need some but have read on the internets some are/aren't banned from some circuits. Help??

Roll cage padding. The only stuff I can find doesn't fit properly. I want it to go all round the bars not halfway.

Thanks in advance. :)

Cable tie wires.
Where is the battery cut off switch going to be? On the bulkhead on the outside of the car or inside the car?
Aero catches as said.
Foam Pipe insulation. Get to your diy shop.

Cable ties?? I mean something to attatch the wires to the shell of the car.

Cut off switch will be next to the gearstick.

Aero catches it is then.

The only foam my local B&Q sell is for thin pipes. I want something that will completely cover the thickness of the cage.

Dan you want P clips for the wires if your after a professional look, which I'm guessing you are going by the roll cage padding not fitting, I'd be the same!

Whats the car going to be used for? If its going to be raced its going to need proper roll cage padding, not pipe insulation!

For the wires use rivnuts and p-clips.

Get yourself along to Birmingham NEC from the 13th-16th for AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL. The best racecar show in the world right here in the UK. You'll get everything you need and at show discounted prices. Make a list, go along and haggle - even Demon Tweeks will haggle - they may be more expensive initially but their service is excellent IMHO.

Cheers,

Lum

You need p-clips for the wiring - really tidy job.
Cut off switch wise if you can budget for it grab a solid state unit instead of the unreliable cheapy mech ones.
Bonnet catch wise I'd go with aerocatches.

For the cables, get a bag of flexible conduit, 20 or 25mm black. cable ties and sticky pads to match. Can get all from newey and eyre or edmunsons.
