Performance exhaust bites back!!!

I went to collect my cliosport 182 from the garage today after having my new KTR ultra performance exhaust fitted......
Fully expecting the car to be better than before (the old oem exhaust had a hole in it)....
if i let the revvs build up slowly things were OK.... but when i booted it, it burbled and would not excelerate!!!.
My foot was flat to the floor!!!
on returning to the garage, the pipes were really hot, so much that touching the tailpipe, it burnt and blistered my finger.....
The only thing the engine management reported was an oxygen sensor problem......
Any one got any ideas????????

that will be an oxygen sensor fault then.............


did they connect it back up or damage it while fitting the exhaust?

I'm hoping they did, (if not there looks like there will be more expense ahead!)
I'm wondering if the fitment was a bit suspect..... Maybe an air leak?.
all the mounting and fittings, as well as engine stabilizer(poly) were changed.

Would the oxy sensor cause the exhaust to get that hot??
