Is the cup with the ledas and new exhaust the mags car, or are they two seperate cars?

I'm relly interested in the new stlealth fitted by janspeed, but would like some more info.... (quick flick through the mags in smiths today )

Anybody know who's cars they are, or who to contact etc?

hmmmm maybe i should just buy the damn mag lol. They had a custom exhaust fitted, but was too loud. It was then taken to janspeed for a quiet stealth jobbie, but these are not off the shelf items. Sound just like what i'm after tbh (dont want a ktec seems to be centre section issues with the MK2) Looked very good in the pics. Also nosed over the leda suspension which they said ruined the car!! PMSL, just goes to show.

the LEDA suspesnion ruins the car thing was written by the test driver bloke from Track and Race cars magazine, he knows what he's on about

afterall he did call our 182 the best handling clio out of morego and bb tunings efforts

surely the suspension cant be just "crap", wouldn't it more likely be the way it's been setup? My FK's are shite, but now I've had them setup properly it actually handles pretty damn well, few passengers have commented on how well it corners... still nothing on my Willy

Laura's K-Tec system is utter garbage, tail pipes are wonky, it doesn't hang properly and as a result rattles or blows, it's either or lol. Build quality is also not too good, so once she see's how amazing my new GDI system will be I think we'll go for one of those. Mine should be done this week if all goes well, as it's the template car

What's the GDI like Jesus? Has it one silencer or two, and any weight advantage?

not sure yet Jack, my car is in there at the moment as it's the template car for the 172, Andy's using his 182 for the 182 systems. All I know is that it's being properly mandrel bent, not manually done and the welding isn't manual, it's laser cut by the computer... all very high tech so should be fantastic. Got a choice of backboxes too and a stealth system. Andy's been chatting to them about the noise and it will be a nice rumble and roaring noise, not a raspy farty one, so should be the mutts nutts. It will be pretty heavily silenced on mine, all of them will be under 90 odd DB's and I dont think any custom exhaust place will be able to match the quality, these will be like a top of the range off the shelf system. I'll get some vids up once it's done and the pics, plus depending who's there at the weekend we can ask their opinion of it. I'm really looking forward to getting it... sick of this powerflow one, it's shite... not only that but it's highly restrictive... 2" system... so new one should give me a bit more power being 2.5"

choice is always a good thing, keeps prices down, but cost isn't really an issue for my exhaust and it's in desperate need for a newun anyway, so it's come at the right time.

Going for a jap style slash cut one, bored of the inward and outward rolled tail pipes, want a thin style one that you can hardly see

Fair enough mate! I had 2 centre sections that rattled!! The 3rd seems ok! I guess from that point of veiw the product was pretty crap. They were happy to help me out though and sent replacements through foc on both occasions! I guess you can argue that they should have been right the first time

Are you reffering to one of the earlier ktec exhausts? Me and Mark A both have one of the 2nd gen stealths and both seem very happy with it. Im loving the sound to be honest, very addictive!

the mk2 stealth is made by janspeed and the system is very well made,and i've had no issues with the centre centre and theres loads of adjustment too,

that cup from pgti is setup far too low and they wonder why its going coilbound,should.ve fitted h&r's

Ah, ive got the decatted pro-speed at the moment mate, but thinking of making a similar move and going for a new rear bumper and a stealth style system.

nope, they spent hours and hours on setup, it turns out the rear spring/damper setup is just crap

i've always said the rear spring setup was rubbish and got flamed for it, glad to see a professional has agreed with me!

i fitted my mk2 ktec stealth exhaust yesterday,

fitted perfectly first time, i was really impressed with teh build quality and yes it is made by janspeed.

doesnt blow or rattle, sounds nice and mellow at low revs and then rasps all day long when you boot it.
car feels quicker and mpg seems to be better too.

well if you want to do a straight swap, Leda's for some FK silverlines give me a shout, I still cant imagine them being crap for the price of them... would be interesting to see how well Pro Sport near me could set them up as they transfored the handling on mine... wasn't cheap, but was WELL worth it!

it seems fred u only know half the story, obviously they did not get on with them. As it happens they tested my car before theres were fitted and were blown away with it.

Yeah the bilsteins are a nice kit but i prefered my leda's all day long!

And the Cup you read about was my old one!!! Dan bought it of me... Although he has left the mag now.

The car was erm... Not the most reliable! First two months i owned it it was in the garage for 6 of those weeks!
