Peugeot stereo code help....?

Having a bit of work done to the VX so I've had to leave it in Crewe and borrow my Dad's misses car. It's a Peugeot 306 XSI and the Stereo needs to have it's code entered due to the battery having been disconnected. It says it should be on in the manual but it isn't

Does anyone know where I could get the code from without having to pay Peugeot £22?

had same trouble, cudnt find anywhere tht wud do it. luckily in the end i found the code handwritten in the back of the manual.

might need a trip to peugeot
