PF97s = Face ripping stopping power!

^Yeh I know what you mean. On the road, I've found myself braking a little bit, and not that much happens, then I push harder and I get too much braking!

Just something to get used to....no major complaints on the road so far. And none from their first track day either.

I loved them on the road in my plastic skip lol

Used £20 a corner pikey plain discs with them since the pads trashed the discs.

Nice lines ;)

Low 51's mate, thats good going. Dont think we went any quicker than that. We'll make a track driver out of you yet.

Notice how much quicker you look at the end of the vid compaired to the begining. carrying much more speed through the turns and getting on the power much earlier

Looked good.

51 seconds? So shorter than Brands Indy but with 11 apexes to hit instead on just the 6...might have to give it a whirl.

Instructor sounded good...when he spoke ;)

lol passed it too ;)

I'm starting to see the slight 'downsides' to these pads! Just washed the car....the insides of my lovely pro race 1.2s are orange.....and there's loads of orange spots down the sides of the car too.
It will shift, but it takes a bit of elbow grease....not sure what to use on the wheels though.

There ya go:

And these aren't even my track wheels! That was the result of having them fitted for a week (normal road use) and a few laps on track at Llandow when it was stupid wet (track wheels have 888s on atm ;))

The second photo looks like it was taken BEFORE I washed them, but that was after two passes with a shitload of bilberry cleaner and elbow grease!!

to be honest at twic the price its put me off a little too much, im sure they are the best but its an everyday car too, so cant justify it really! i think im just gonna stick 2500's back on, get rid of these ebc things

They were twice the price of 1144's for the vx, but they lasted about 4 times longer and gave unbelievable stopping.... Granted the use of them also should include the cost of a wheel refurb before sale (if you care about having shiney wheels)

55's seem to just lay thick dust down but dont put as much Fe based stuff down (ie its not mullering the discs as hard). Not that I bothered trying to get the 55 dust off since the wheels were fecked anyway :)
