Ph-Quick Decat / Sports Cat

  Evo VI Tommi Makinen
Peeps,

My Mk2 Ph1 is starting to sound a bit raspy / Blowy around the Cat.
I'm just wondering what is the best route to take. I.e.
Decat and replace the Cat for each MOT or go for a more expensive sports cat. Also who makes the best decats / sports cats for the Ph-Quick and what are the costs.
I have seen the KTEC ones but are these any good.

Any advice would be useful.

Thanks Rob

You need a new cat for mot time so might as well buy one then get your old one messure the size of the CAT box and cut it out then weld in a bit of pipe the same lenght of the cat. Much cheaper.

I 've got a raspy noise buts its the silencer not the cat, make sure its not the same with yours otherwise you could be in for an expensive bill for no reason. Booked in with pro-speed in Cardiff today, only 2 1/2 weeks to go!!!

Let me know what it is m8. I have a KTEC stealth system on so wont be blowing from that. Think decat maybe the way to go as its a tad cheaper
