if you was given a choice between these two cars what would you have?

im 17 and cant have the 1.6 16v otherwise there would be no competition.

base your answers on how fun the car is to drive, and not on things like fuel economy..

Doesn't realy matter realy drive bother of them.

I'd go for the newest one which has a good service hstory that sort of different ie 1.6 8v and 1.4 16v is nothing worthwhile arguing over particuly as he cars arn't new so can be just as good as new or massivly down etc.

1.6 8v is about 90 and the 1.4 16v is about 98. But then the 1.6 has a little bit more torque so it's all swings and roundabouts really.

sounds like there both a much of a muchness then, ill just get the car that looks in better shape, how much is average milage for a 2000 reg btw?

1.4 16v myself. Milage will vary obviously, would be looking at circa 60k+ on most of them i'd have thought.
