Ph1 172 central locking issue ??

Hey there so my issue is I can only lock my car by using the button inside the car to lock it , I've changed the remote battery and still no joy if I lock the door using the key it will only lock the drivers door no other doors lock , where can I start to look ?

mates started doing this other week (1.2) but could be same. just disconnect battery for 5 mins, then it started to work as normal

My phase 1 172 locks and unlocks with the key but then doesn't disarm the alarm :-/

Mine has done it too out of the blue for no reason whatsoever.
the spare key works fine.
any1 has a solution?
*key blinks twice if you press the button for a second, tried replacing battery, no joy =(
