Ph1 172 Flamer Track/Road car

  2015 ST2(MO)/CorsaLE
i found that! but that prob because you were speaking to people that didnt know what they were on about tbh! i think if you use the term CAP BOLTS ind strengh 12.9 that should make a few think! rather worrying then these people work in fixings and fasternings companys! they will do the job! and you can use the existing nuts! (they have a washer already included) iirc i used a washer on top thought :) great look forward to pics!!!!!!!! dont over tighten as there not the best of nuts (a bit soft) and 12.9 is a bit over kill tbh but better be safe then sorry!!

or sheer sp through! all bolts have a strengh - some fold up under impact - would just sheer off ;)

8.8 iir is standard and will be ok really 10.9 is better and 12.9 is as i say a little over kill - why i know all this ill never know as i have nothing to do with fixings and fasternings! haha

Soon as the seats are in!! Had to get the bolts from ebay, the companies/shops round here are clueless, said 12.9 and most were adamant that you can't get them anywhere, so hopefully should be here tomorrow, fitted tomorrow. Might get the passenger seat out ready.
I had the same trouble looking for a bubble for my spirit level......

Looking forward to seeing the seats in

They keep them next to the left handed stapler IIRC

One FLOL, been waiting for the bolts, came in today. Getting the paint work done for free, in exchange for the 182 alloys, bonus!!

Very supportive and comfy, very impressed given how cheap I got them, £300 with subframes!

are you as impressed with these as you were with the daytonas?!
Best seats I've had. More lateral leg support than Recaro's/Cobra's. Done a few very long journey's and they've been very comfy.
Getting some quotes for the paintwork next week, needs to be done!

Still not sure what to do with the ****. I want to rip the back seats out and carpet the rear, but then the boot is basically useless.
Brakes will be done next week (Ferodo/Brembo/Hoses).
Then the wait begins for someone to write off their Twingo RS so I can nab the steering wheel.

Tidy it then Sell it??

Whats next fella?
If it sell's, an R26. If not I'll keep it, then spend some cash for 190ish bhp. Not unhappy with the car, just got a good chance of a decent meg, low miles, sensible price.

Nice.... The more I see r26's the more tempting they become.... Hoping to avoid Renault for the next car though.

Sell the 1.2's with Tyres Seperately??
