Having an overnight stay at powerstation, just waiting for the rear springs to come from eibach. I've been lent a 191000 miles m reg, faded mondeo estate, epic. Also, Nissan GTR looks fantastic in red, the new impreza doesn't have a good angle, and the litchfield type 25 is flipping awesome!and updates Warren?! Pics required!

Actually feels quite solid, apart from the brakes. Hit the brakes, wheel goes left, car goes right and the back end goes left! Amazing, the opposite happens when you come off the brakes, think it's set up for oval racing.

Are you having rear coilovers or leaving the springs on the axle like the stock set up?

Hopefully! Bit of a leap of faith, never been in a car with them before, but the rear coilover+the adjustable dampers should be great (even better given the price!).

Tbh i reckon they are the way to go coz you can tell Curtis what you want and he will 'build' them. My H&R's are ok but ive had to get some different springs off Curtis to stiffen up the rear.
At some stage i might be getting some more front and rear springs off him coz overall the H&R's are too soft for me.
Might just sell them and go down the Ast route anyway.

I'm down your way fairly often, the rents live in malvern. Next week, I'll let you know which evening I'm over, if you're free we'll meet somewhere. Roads between malvern and tewkes are great (sure you know that!)

Got the ast's fitted, immense. Still playing with settings, but so capable. On standard soft settings, ride is good and handling great. Would prefer a slightly sharper turn in, will be speaking to fitter on monday.

Nope, having spoken to a few people, seems they aren't the best if going on track, so I've got a cheap solution until next year. Only going to be able to fit one track outing in this year, so I'll get some pole positions early next year.

Had a look at the momo site, could be the solution to my problems. Been looking for someone that makes fixed buckets in a similar design/fabric to some recliners, momo do. So, I'm going to order a fixed bucket in the same fabric, keep the recliner for the passenger (ie Shelley), and I'll have the fixed bucket.

True Tim, already had Riz write "I love gays" on the bonnet. I'm going to draw a huge penis on his driveway using wd40, that'll learn him.
Got the seats last night, bargain (£300), look brand new. Just need to get some bolts for the subframe, should take a couple of hours max to fit (Recaro's took 2hrs, and they're more complex to fit)

Soon as the seats are in!! Had to get the bolts from ebay, the companies/shops round here are clueless, said 12.9 and most were adamant that you can't get them anywhere, so hopefully should be here tomorrow, fitted tomorrow. Might get the passenger seat out ready.
