PH1 172 throttle bodie on a PH2 172.

i know that this throttle bodie will bolt straight on to my existing manifold but what else will i need apart from obv the cable and the ph1 pedal?? how hard is it to do the conversion? cheers

quite simple iirc... but you will loose functionality of the cruise control.

Then you've also got the problem of the ECU, afaik all the cable throttle conversions for the Ph2 172 and 182 use aftermarket management.

Only the very late 172s had cruise so 95% of the time its not a problem, you'd loose ESP too if you had it as well I imagine.

There is a Rs sport tunning kit but for the price but most peopel would go for stand alone ECU at the same time as it would have other mods.
