  172cup turbo & rx8
can someone please tell me the weights for a standard ph1 and also for a standard ph2 cup, also i take it they didnt do a lightweight "cup" ph1?

cheers for that,

any ideas what was removed to make the cup lighter than the standard ph2 except abs?

  172 - 249bhp @ the wheels
My phase 1 says it weighs 1080kg's on the metal plaque, I bet the other models say more than the advertised weights too, as according to previous threads on here:

Ph1: 1059kg's
Ph2: 1110kg's
Cup: 1011kg's
182: 1080kg's

Best off just getting it on a weigh station

(oh, dont think there is such a thing as a 172 Ph2 FF as they didn't have cup type options with different trim iirc, only scat nav)

ive always been baffled by people bein anal about weight reduction and all that, surely if you're a fat cnut then any advantage by having a slightly lighter car is negated! an incentive to break my kfc addiction i think.

weight reduction = better bhp per tonne it isnt that hard to work out;)
