ph1 Gear knob



Yes it does fit, no its not that hard to do.

Now if you had a Ph1 172 with its oem gear knob on that was shall we say a bit tatty and you wanted to remove it and put a new oem ph 1 172 gear knob on. I can say thats f**king hard work.

Os the round gear knobs on the ph 1s are bonded iirc. My mate who is a renault techy had to cut my tatty gear knob off as it would not budge.

But to remove the gear knob on a ph2 he said use a C spanner round the base, and using a hammer or a mallet tap it upwards

That's what's putting me off changing my tatty one. Read that i'm gonna have to ge the hacksaw out.
