ph1 Gearbox into a 172 cup

Guys,

quick question will there be any issue (I know the ratios are different) on using a ph1 gearbox in a 172 cup? we have one sitting which would be easier to use than get another cup box so just wanting to check.

Will be fine.

Is there not a difference in the driveshafts? Got nothin concrete just a niggling feeling that the shafts are different in some way!

Shafts are different lengths, yeah. No difference with the box though
