Just one that's happened tonight on my 1.4 ph1:
Was completely fine on one journey, on the return my steering felt a lot heavier than usual, not desperately to the point of not being able to turn the wheel, but it felt more uncomfortable, I'm putting it down to the fact I stupidly red-lined first gear on the way back (Shame on me? :nono
Anyway, had my brother take a look who's got basic mechanical skills (very basic) and showed me a black pump-type-looking-whatchamacallit below the engine, and it was hissing every time I turned the wheel, more so on full lock.
Any ideas on the problem? and how much I'm looking at to fix it?
