I've been wondering what I needed to change since picking up the car, lol!

Doesn't really seem to affect it TBH, but if they're cheap, I'll change them.

I may try and get most of it done this w.e tbh mate, only thing is I should change the track rod ends before bothering to get the tracking done... fudge!

I thought you was too skint this month. I think they are about £50 from Renault. I've got only one service this Saturday so i'm free most of the day until about 5, do the track rod ends then drive down to Elite.

Dude, it's a new month. (I'm still brasic, but that's my own doing, try to demolish a BIG CC in a very short time).

I'll get hold of that driveshaft this week then, £50 for some poncey bushes??? Can you link me up to anywhere that sells what we're talking about??

I'll also buy some track rod ends...

If you're free I'm game, I'll bring the t-shirts with me too! I just phoned elite, seems they're an OK price again now, weird!

From the 5 minute research I just did Euro car parts don't do them and neither do GSF, the bloke I use down the road is looking for me. I would buy Renault tbh.

Elites are weird they change their prices like the weather. They do a cracking job though.

TBH, I've never noticed anything wrong with them. They were an advisory on the MOT when I bought the car, 18m ago, and it's never shown any issues.

So we'll do rod ends, new shaft, (it's actually new) and robert's your mothers brother?

Oh, and I've still got 5l of coolant if you fancy a challenge?

New shaft is not yet paid for, but I've negotiated a nice deal I think. (it's 2 years old but never fitted).

The ph1 looks spot on with the rest of the styling though rob, and much better than the god awful ph2 bumper which looks like it's melted and doesn't suit the lines of the ph1 at all.

You know, when I was getting the ph2 bootlid, I thought this was the right way to go.. but the ph1 bumper makes the car look "squat" which is awesome.

The ph2 bumper looks great, IMO, but the ph1 just has something about it for me at the moment.
