Ph1 odyssey blue - project

  PH1 172
now im a clio owner thought i would start a project thread, although im pretty useless at taking "in action" pictures so pretty much mainly before and after pictures,

so starting with how i bought the car,

i bought it from my dad who has owned it for just under 2 years, and it has spent 6months in the garage,

the specification are as follows;

milage 54k
standard engine
k-tec stealth (twin box)
k-tec decat pipe
itg panel filter
eibach sportline springs
poweflex wishbone mounts
carbon lorraine pads with brembo dics
team dynamic pro race 1.2's
omp corsica steering wheel,
rear strut brace
skoda fabia front splitter
yellow front fogs
powerflex lower engine mount

i spent the whole weekend workig on the car fitting my new toys i had bought :)

so pictures of how i bought it,

and after a long weekends work on it it now stands like this:

and after a few hours of getting angry at the dashboard

list of things to do are:

paint the mirror caps blue
remove k-tec stickers
fit my oz f1's
decde whether or not to fit my bucket seats or put back seats back in
machine polish
matched inlets
remap

managed to make some spacers up for the rear at uni, the rear track is now 20mm wider (10mm each side) i like it! i have also changed the rear springs for slightly lower ones as the rear had raised up quite high with it being stripped out.

i dont have seats in the back so it wont rub lol

next?...

front spacers to widen track
get my r888's on the td 1.2's and actually use them
polybush the ARB
and im going to start flocking soon so will flock everything and anything haha!

other then that money is tied up with other things, it does need a clutch release bearing as its not sounding too healthy but it is on its original clutch which has now done 55k so its due a renewal.

Not updated this in a long time..

things that have happend since the last date:

The K-tec stealth was sold and i had a custom exhaust made up for it, i missed my pugsport too much so i was in search of the raspyness again, its kind of raspy but more of a bwaaaa now which im not too much a fan of so my new exhaust may have to go, (although it has only done about 30 miles!)
I sold my R888's as they werent being used but still have my TD 1.2's redy for some new tyres when i can afford them. Im currently doing my masters at uni so the car is now tucked away in the garage untill sometime late next year.. she is still on 57k! soon will be one of the low mileage ones ;)

iv not updated this in a while, i dont really have much of an update, everytime i go home from uni i seem to get it out the garage look at it and put it away, iv taken a few pictures whens its been out, I started her up the other day and it fired up first time no issues, let it warm up and got all the bearings moving again ect. after it was warm took a quick video of the exhaust, I know its a chavvy thing to do but im still trying to convince myself of the sound, I also snapped up a cup spoiler, still in silver at the moment, trial fitted it but will get it painted when i have time/money.

So after a while, it was costing quite a bit to run the clio to work and back everyday, so I bought a cheap run around, which meant the clio was sat doing nothing for a few weeks... I umm and aaaaghed about what to do, so then this happened.. (pics tell the story)

Bought a KTR recessed exhaust, tilted it slightly and it fit under the bumper... no cutting! I didn’t like the tail pipe so off it came and had a new straight cut welded on.

I needed to do a cambelt change and clutch change, and i wanted to get rid of my aircon and fit my 182 manifold. So out came the engine to do it all at once!
