Ph1 or Ph2 Cat back with 182 manifold upgrade on a 172 Ph1?

I know there are 2 different cat back exhaust systems listed for the Ph1 and Ph2. I think this is due to the different length cats.

My question is if you have a Ph1 172 with a 182 manifold upgrade and the special de-cat pipe to link to the 172 exhaust system.

Which will be the correct cat back to fit? The Ph1 or Ph2?

The ph2 system in theory. Really depends what the link pipe is designed to fit

Early ph1 have the different length down pipe & cat iirc and the later ph1 share the same as the ph2. I could be wrong on the last part though.

I think there is only 1 design of link pipe out there, like the one from k-tec.

I'm just not sure if this finishes in the position of the Ph1 or Ph2 cat.
