Ph1 Ph2 172 gearbox question.

So, I know that the ph1 garbox has a speedo sensor and the ph2 uses the abs to work the speedo.

Is there anyway of adapting a Ph2 gearbox to accomadate the sensor? Or could I get my speedo working using the abs ring too?

What would I need?

not as far as i know mate, just use a 172 cup box instead if you fancy a ph2 box?

if the final drive is the issue, ph-1 and ph-2 are fully interchangeable.

I don't mind which box I use, there just doesn't seem to be any Ph1/cup ones about for a decent price.

They are interchangable, but there are different. But there isn't one better than the other right ?

I ask because I have a ph2 (dissasembled) and a ph1 and a ph2 boxes (I got a spare just in case) I'm planning to use the ph2 box, but I still can choose...
