Ph1 rust

To all of the people who have had the horrible PH1 rust around the rear archs

How bad was it and how did you treat it?

Mine is pretty bad, so just trying to get ideas and solutions as to where to get it sorted and how much I'm looking at

I have the start of it bubbling through on the rear drivers arch, so far nothing on the passengers side although haven't inspected from behind/underneath etc. so am also interested in treatment and solutions to get it fixed

I'll be honest I keep meaning to take the interior out in the rear to have a proper look but I am doing what @Djw John has been doing :smile:

Depends how bad it is, if it's as deep as mine was, it will just come back. Only real solution is fresh metal

Did you end up having fresh metal on yours?

dinitrol or bilt hamber will slow in down but eventually it will still rot through and need new metal

Mine is that bad, that I'm deciding whether to actually even bother getting it repaired or just to buy a better chassis and swap it all over
