PH2 Bumpstrips (help)

  Flame Red Delight
Hi

I am looking for a guide, or some help on how to fit ph2 bumpstrips onto my clio grande mark 2 ph1 . I tried to fit them at the scrappy for like a trial run and it failed miserably. I was wondering if any kind and helpful cliosport memeber, who has already made the conversion could make me up a guide so that i get the delights of ph2 bumpstrips.

Thanks

Callum

if its pre 2000 model the bumpstrips are not a straight swap....lots of work involved with fitting them....2000 onwards were the same fittings

Scrap yard is the best and probably cheapest place to get a set. As for painting, how good are you? If you've got some patience its quite easy to do.

im no sprayer and im in the middle of doing mine...fairly easy to do,just take your time..either go round you local scrappers or look on ebay or on here..expect to pay anything from £30+ for the full set

Right kk thanks for the help guys :D

Ye and as for painting I havnt got any experience was looking at another thread tough and it was saying just to wet sand, paint then prime till it matched the colour of the car.

Ivan what method are you using to paint yours?

for the prep work i used wet and dry 800 to start then down to 1200..then on with 3 coats of light primer...then 3 coats of paint followed of with 3 coats of clear coat...they seem ok considering i clear coated them on a really cold day last week
