Ph2 Dash into a Ph1 clio

Does anybody have any info on the Mk2 Ph2 dash into a Mk2 Ph1 clio?

Ive been told that its a straight fit, but does anybody know if all the air ducting matches up, heater controls work the same etc only problem i can see is the passenger airbag? any info on this would be great

I was considering it before I got my car, I looked into it & found that it wasn't a straight froward job so I didn't do it. Tbh though the mk2 ph1 interior isn't that bad.

check out burps track **** thread in projects. he's just started to put one in it. doesnt fit straight in at all

edit to say: the main bar behind the dash sits lower in a ph2 than a ph1 and also the ph1 clocks wont fit into the ph2 dash

I looked up on here (I may even have asked) it was a while ago now though, the main thing/problem was the air con, as the dash I wanted had climate (which I don't have)

Thanks for the link i did search but couldnt find anything least now i can see what the ph2 dash will look like in a sunflower before i do mine lol

ill be changing them for some ph2 172 items to match the colour of the dash
