Ph3 to Ph1 Conversion Possible?

Hey, i have a mk1 ph3, i want to fit a williams bonnet but it does not fit because of the lights, is it possible to change the lights to the ph1 lights then the bonnet will fit?

afaik it's just a straight swap of bonnet and lights but I'm not sure if you need to change the wings - are the indicators the same?

Wings stay the same. Have to convert the lights from electric to manual tho iirc

How hard is that? the lights work the same as when i had a ph1 tho?
and looks like they wont fit against the bumper?

Bumper will be fine, dunno about how hard the lights are to do as never done it myself. There might be a guide on the net somewhere tho as I know its been done before. Alternitvly the bonnet may be able to get modded so the ph3 lights fit in

Or if its too much hassle i could always get a scoop moulded in, like eddie has done:

I'd go with the valver bonnet & wings personally.

Yeah so basically the only thing holding me back is the lighting, so whats different about them? from what ive studied the bulbs and such are the same fitment?

straight swap, just need bonnet and lights, ph3 bumper fits.

when i swapped mine years ago. car is a Ph3.
