phase 1 172 launch control from fastchip

clutch shouldnt be too much of a problem running launch control, obviously its going to wear it quicker but the cars dont have massive torque anyway so its not really a problem.

next up is a 182 manifold and decat then an overrun map so it should sound awesome!
 
dont get it. these things are rapid off the lights anyway, just get a good set of tyres.
 
I'm with Dave on this one. If you are having trouble putting down 160 - 170bhp throught the front wheels from a standing start, then the money would have been better spent on driving lessons ;)
 
I had this on my ph1 172, much fun :) I only used it once on a red light dual, works wonders as the clio can sometimes bog down if the revs arent right. I still found it span up a bit before making propper progress though, I think dropping the launch control 250-300rpm would help a lot
