Phase 1 flame red

Just starting my phase 1 project.

Plans are to keep things simple and get the handling up to scratch.

Current state is :

Rear stripped
Changed to cup gearbox
GAZ coilovers
New stiff mounts

Parts to fit :

172 cup subframe
Manifold
Decat
New coil pack
New ignition leads
Bucket seats and harnesses

Parts still to buy :

Full cage hopefully through the GB
roll centre kit again through GB
Through time hopefully itbs

Not many ph1 flame red left I hear so better look after it. Looks awesome when it's clean [emoji85]

It's a r33 in for some serious work I was told.

Got bored tonight so started fitting some bits.

Got the steering wheel fitted but got bored after and started lifting the carpets and removing some plastics from dash and centre console

It's a slow going project as doing it only at weekends and weather permitting.

Hoping weather is kind tomorrow and can start changing over the manifold [emoji106]

Plans today were to get the manifold and decat done but didn't manage it due to rusty bolts and poor light.

But did manage to fit the new ignition leads and pick up some slicks for summer track days, also played about with the coilover settings and set them to medium soft until I get back on track.

Small update to how it is currently looking.

Cage fitted
Seats and harnesses done
Roll centre kit fitted with spacers and camber bolts
Oil cooler and oil catch can done
Bumper "altered" for air flow
Set of turbines

On the look for rear coilovers if anyone knows any for sale?

Black front end looks smart, even better against the red. I was going to to the same on mine, but went agaisnt it and just did the grill bit. Glad I didn't as I have seen a few Titaniums with it and it doesn't look right. Yours is spot on. Have you thought about gong black front lights?

I also like your cold air feed, that's what I presume it is cable tied to the bottom on the bumper?

I am currently making up headlight blanks for it when the mot runs out as it will be turned into a fully focused track car.
That is the air feed yes but will be moving that too through time also.
