Phase 1 gearknob Refurb

Hi,

I just bought a Phase 1 gearknob and would like to refresh it.
Has anybody repainted the ball?
If so, any tips and what colour paint (code) did you use?
I’d like to keep the stock grey/silver colour.

Any advice gratefully received.

@Deano17 how did you get on, mate ? Just bought one and looking to colour code mine to the car

I painted mine a while back. Lots of light coats is the way or it'll end up with runs. I wrapped some tape around a pencil and stuck the ball on that.
