Phase 1 to Phase 2 Rear Clusters

Hi, I get my car back tomorrow, and i need to change the lights over.

I have got a 1999 Clio Mk 2 Phase 1, and the rear lights I have got have got a different wiring loom/plug.

What do i need to do to get these new lights which i presume have mark 2 phase 2 plugs on?

They are K-tec Rear Lights.

The plugs are the same you just need to change some of the wires around in the plug. I think eviljohn has the wiring diagram saved, I lost mine.

I might just solder the wires on hardwire job as the plugs are different o nthe k-tec lights

the plugs should be the same, otherwise everyone would have to chnage them to fit new lights. Dont reccomend soldering mate, just ask John185k!!

but ktec lights should plug straight in, you're the first person ive heard who says they are different! PM 'Has' cos he has the same lights. Ph1 and ph2 share the same plug, just the wires are in a different order. John fucked his up trying to solder so i had to fit a new plug to his loom ans sort it out for him

no its not, i wrote that guide myself from my experiences of changing the clusters (Day helped write the guide too). I even drew the wiring diagram in Excel!

I had to get a neighbour to solder one of my wires after it snapped when changing from ph1 to ph2 lights!
