Philips BlueVision Ultra H7

  Clio MK3 1.6 Dynamique

Ok so i got these delivered today & want to fit them ASAP!

I thought it would come with instructions howto connect them up... but it doesnt, I checked the website & theres no sign of "fitting instructions" either, so im back here for help... Basically i just need help on howto get into the bulbs to replace them... (obviously i open the bonnet), But after that... Im lost, Its a Clio Dynamique version 2004 I have,

Can anyone help me please, or link me to a website that might help ?

Thanks :)

Take off the rubber caps at the back of the headlight units mate, then put your hand into where the bulb is held in and twist the bulb holder until it comes out then pull the exsisting bulb off the holder and replace it with your new ones. It can be a very annoying due to the lack of space behind there, so be patient.

Cheers, Alan.

In the pack of the Philips bulbs, i got 4 bulbs alltogether... I thought it could be the free pack of side lights... but its actually in the same package... (if you look on the powerbulbs.co.uk website at the picture of the phillips bluevision it shows there is 2 sets of bulbs inside the package), so either the little bulbs in the package are the free sidelights or they have forgotten to include them in this order...

Is there meant to be 4 bulbs alltogether in the package... or will the extra 2 be the free set?

The little bulbs that have a kind of wedged bottom will be the sidelights but the longer glass bulbs will be the main beam IIRC.

it looks pretty hard to fit these to be honest, ive got the headlights part of the manual here, and it doesnt realy help lol.

Its probably easy to fit, but to people who havnt done it before, seems impossible, ah well.

What if i fit the wrong bulbs in the wrong places? lol

I dont think you can mate as both the bulb holders are different due to the different types of bulbs/sizes etc.

Well I actually did it! :D

I never realy put my hand on the glass untill today.. but after a few mins of the lights being on, it gets quite warm/hot. - I am guessing thats normall? (I actually put the full beam on for few minutes as well just to make sure everything was working and it all seems fine)

Hardest bit i found was the right hand bulb, was only about 4 inches of space to get my hand in.

Success though! I didnt damage anything... (not that i know of lol).

you guys think i would make a good mechanic? :D haha (puting that on my C.V .... "Changed a lightbulb in the car" .. something to be proud of! woooohoooo
