Photo Paper

I recently bought some photo paper from PC World. Kodak Ultima photo paper. The first few prints were brilliant. I hadn't printed any photos for about 3 weeks. I printed some yesterday and the ink doesn't seem to be soaking in the paper properly, they come out as a satin with wet ink rather than glossy. I've taken the paper back and got a refund as they had no more in stock.

Should paper go off once opened? Theres nothing on the packaging saying it needs to be used all at once.

Where can I get decent cheap 6 x 4 paper from, preferably shop based so I can return it if I have a similar problem.

The Kodak paper was £5.97 for 60 sheets. 270gm and 250 microns.

Have you cleaned the printer heads? This happened to me and i cleaned the head and it worked.

I've tried other some A4 photo paper and thats fine. I did clean the print head just to make sure though!

Those shops that sell refillable cartridges (Cartridge World et al) should also sell photo paper, could try there?

Failing that, small PC shops.
