Has anyone ever had a cut down rear number plate on their car?

My Private plate is V12 PEP so a bit shorter than the normal ones, wondered what it would look liek if I had it cut down shorter, but still with legal spacings and letters etc???

Standard size rear one, then one cut to fit the gap on the front.

the 3/4 plate just scales the whole number plate down, so the lettering isnt the same height.

so i suppose technically they are illegal.
