Pic request - sunroof conversions - manual to electric

Anyone converted there manual sunroof to electric tilt and slide ones?

would like to see some pics and chat to people about how they have done it, fancy having a go myself

Its possible but forget it for the effort the electrics one arn't any better.

Think I might silicon mine shut.... Will be able to take it off for resale but for me I cba with even having it open even in summer!

i can sell you some 2mm galv, then just weld it over the hole. spot on.

Just remove the roof and stick a 172/authenic roof etc on as there sunroofless.

i wanted the electric one because i wanna slide it all the way back

theres no point in the one now, not really a sunroof as its tinted and only tilts like 10 degrees

You can take the manual ones right out if you're feeling adventurous!
