Got the car out of the garage to see the results of the clay and waxing under the sunlight :

Pretty pleased, I have got some P21s Carnauba wax and some poorboy's products being delivered next week, going to give them a go and see how mint I can really get the car looking.

I agree it's a lovely looking 172.

Pretty much how I want mine to look expect I've never been keen on the exhaust. Twin pipes I can live with but I'm much rather them have been cut into the bumper.

i've never like dtwin pipes but i duno, it just looks so good cutting into the bumper is always poo when you come to sell though...as i've found out!

I hate the exhaust, but nice car otherwise.

the exhaust is its weakness, but it was bought 2 1/2 years ago when Pro-Speed and K-Tec stealth were things of non-existence, its not something I am greatly fond of but for the time being it will do.

they must have been on there for over 2 years now, so they have had plenty of time to settle in

around 60/100 miles a month really. will start using it more come summer though

Love it, looks such a great car, nice subtle mods that really improve it no end. Makes it even better that you keep it in check by keeping it so clean.
