Picture Request Clio Mk2 Ph2 Lowered

Hi , i've just got my 17's fitted onto my Clio Mk2 Ph2 and it definately needs lowering, i'd be grateful for some pics of clio's lowered on 17's as i'm unsure what to go for!!

mine is on FK coilovers with 17"s x
70mm front 80mm rear. APPROX.

did any arch work have to be done for the above cars? do the arches rub at all at the back with passengers?

i have the dilemma still of whether to get my clio lowered 60mm or 40 mm- either would get 16"s on

Some nice motors!! i've been told that if you go any lower than 40mm your best off getting new shockers aswell as springs rather than just springs!! Is this what everyone else has done?

^^ Yeah. 60mm on springs alone isn't going to be good for the standard shocks. Probably looking at about 6months-1year before they'd need replacing.
I'm on 60mm springs at the moment until I get coilovers next month.

You won't need any arch modifications for a 60mm drop & 17" wheels (assuming they are the right offset.)

Thinkin of lowing it 40mm on Apex kit. AS iam on 35mm om G max springs and failed pre MOT tester before real MOT on Feb.

Well 60mm is what i'm looking at and it seems the best bet, i got offset 35 on my wheels, as i was told clio are anywer between 35-42!!

Should i be ok dropping it 60mm on these?

Should be fine yeah. You may get very very minor scrubbing on full lock but nothing worth any hassle.

I have just had new 17' rims put on my clio. im wondering what is best to lower to without having to do any major work. would i be able to lower by 40mm or would 30 be a max?

can anyone help
