Picture size

Right i have taken some photos on my new camera, the pics are coming out in huge sizes, like 2MB for one photo.

Is there anyway of making them smaller other than cropping the pic.

yeah sorry wasnt sure how to put it,

when i upload them to my laptop, from the camera there file sizes are huge.

Thats the raw size. if you want to manipulate them to post them on here use Photo bucket and post the link.

if you are sending them by e-mail, select the "make the images smaller" option.

go in the camera settings and choose a smaller resolution?

I use a program called "Mihov Image Resizer" it will resize a large batch of photos in one go

erm, just open it in paint, then just File > save... cos paint saves the image in a shitter quality the filesize should drop

or open it with photoshop, and File > save, it should come up with a quality thing, just lower the slider.

way 2 much hastle, the microsoft does the job fine and can do batch conversions.
