I'm 100% sure there is already a before and after thread...
Havnt got any pictures of my first car, big regrets.

by thispoint it was approx290-300bhp..and also a secondset of wheels...Prefer the snowflakes tho tbh.
How the f**k did you get insurance for that being your first car?

My Dads first car was a 3 year old Porsche 924S, he didnt pass till he was 30 something though lol.
Suppose. I was thinking more along the lines of he's just acquired his full licence and regardless of age he would find it difficult to insure something with that power as insurance works on experience also. Not that clued up on insurance so maybe talking s**te lol.

My (soon to be) MD at work is 30 and hasn't passed his test yet, but will be buying a new BMW 135i as soon as he does. His insurance will be marginally less than I paid for my first car when I was 18.
Regardless, I don't give him long before he bins it.

It was rage bondi beach blue before the flippy paint, with an evo 6 boot spoiler made to fit the roof lol!
Same bumper but afterwards a fiat bravo abarth splitter was grafted onto the bottom when it went purple, the 17's were never on in a mag feature but it had 17" BOSS XTR, then 18" Mille Miglia's

LOL, I wonder if good old CWC is still going? That Jayne that organised everything was a bit odd really, looked like a school teacher but organised cruises!
Nah after this I went straight to clio land with my 172 cup and then onto V6's
Astra GSI, 172, Golf
was 23-24 collingwood learner insurance. £75 a month will insure upto a group 32 car, which luckily enough is what group the GSI is.

My first car was an old mk1 Clio oasis 1.2! No before photos but looking back, the afters were pretty terrible!
the gear know had blue LED lights if you pressed the centre in! I also had blue footwell lighting that ran off the cigaret lighter!!
never worried about heat soak...

That wont be a good move on his part. Don't get me wrong I don't know the bloke but that sounds like a classic "if I can afford to buy the car I have the skills to drive it!" kind of thing. I agree with you, won't take long that!
