They are not the same shell.

Pinlo has the volume buttons and silent switch cut out and 4 and 4s have these buttons in slightly different places hence they are not the same shell.

Even the updated 4 model with the extra signal bar? Would a 4s case fit this model?

I just put this case on my phone, literally 30 seconds ago, bought a 4s one off eBay.

Ive had one on my 4 for about 6 months now and it's a little worn. It still goig strong though.

Only had it on a day, but it's great fit and don't even notice it's on TBH. Don't think it would offer any protection at all from a drop though.

I've dropped mine twice with this case on. Very slight damage to the case but no damage to the phone.

The only down side to these cases is if you drop it and it lands on the screen.
