Hi everyone, my Alpine HU is on its way out and i'm wondering what to get. I would love the ID-x001 but it's too expensive, so i'm wondering what to get. i like the look of the alpine 9881 and the pioneer DEH-P65BT. I've only ever had alpine so i need some help please.

If you are doing it for Ipod control it gets no better than this, and SOOO cheap for what it is. If you want it for bluetooth though, there are better out there.

I like Alpine cos they are simple to set up for perfect sound, but they look old now, like they need a face lift. the pioneer looks great but seem to have too many things to tweek for sound. I wish i knew that fella who gets stuff from 'off the back of a lorry cash & carry' so i could get the x001 with the cool screen, cos didn't buy a 5th gen ipod to stuff it in the glove box.
