piper exhaust problem...

right,

iv got a piper single exit exhaust and its started rubbin on the bottom of the car(squeaking noise,,,arrrrgh) -well the mounting piece rubs on the metal next to the towing ring Iv had it 5 months and no problems, what can i do to sort it out,,, would a new exhaust rubber mount thing work? how would i cut it off if i want to? Its pissin me off so much!!

SIMPLE - take it to an exhaust centre & tell them your problem. They will put it up in the air and adjust it for you, are fit a new exhaust rubber - depending on what the problem is. I,ll be surprised if they charge you more than a tenner.
