If you bash a cliosport 172/182 then you havn't got a clue imo. They were cheap as f**k from the showroom and competed with cars a lot more expensive. For the price that they were they were a cracking bit of kit.a lot of people on PH bash the 172/182, no love for them on this thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=23&t=1500998&mid=427270&nmt=Blasphemy!: Revered driver's cars that you just don't get.
.
The 197 was a niche product, fair enough good on track, but for a road car, thirsty, hard work and too expensive.
To understeer on the road would mean you are seriously pushing. Like 60mph around a tight roundabout pushing. Shows how capable they are. It is the fun factor of the car too which is a very strong point. Driven loads of technically faster cars that have bored me to tears.I think the Clio is an awesome car! Understeer would be imo its weak point as standard and the hateful driving position.
Really? That's one thing I've never had an issue with on clios.I think the Clio is an awesome car! Understeer would be imo its weak point as standard and the hateful driving position.
