Places in the Northwest to service my 182?

  Black Gold 182...
Hi there, my 182 is up for a service very shortly, it's the 36k one and will need the aux belt replacing. Does anybody know of anywhere good to go other than Renault dealers?

Similiar to the majority of people on here, i cherish my car and want a good job at a good price...

I live on the Wirral, so anything around that area.

Thanks in advance

Martin

Birchdown near Malpas. Approx 30 miles each way for you - but well worth it.

Andy & Steve are top blokes and know their stuff. :)

  a thirsty one
i also would use birchdown again, they fitted my brakes and my aux belt for me, great lads and really know their stuff. (had my aux belt alongwith idler etc fitted earlier than my 36k service but was at 3 years old nearly)

i do loads of research before using garages (my brother been in the trade last 27 years) i have heard some horror stories and met some idiots over the years but i would recommend andy/steve above 100%.

  Shhh
I rang up the other day, 72k service inc cambelt & aux belt just over £700..

Unsure what is needed on the 72k service to warrant such a high price really.

Maybe its £700 towards a new car.. :)

Renault Platinum quoted me £750 for 72k service inc cambelt!!

Got the cambelt done for £290 at a v good local garage, going to get the service done for £250 when Ive got more funds :approve:
