Now at first before i started getting into all this OCD malark i was spraying Megs Hot rims on my wheels to clean them then they were gettin a bit etched(or Rotted :S) illustrated here...

rot.jpg

Now since ive been using Car Lack 86 now its good stuff but my cars been producing alot of brake dust from the drivers side wheel (Without hard braking) now these wheels are a b*****d to clean beleive me (also give me a bloody rash all over me are first time i used it), but before i order more CarLack is there anything else i could use that will be stronger and also last longer but still be PH neutral.

Many Thanks Mike

Bilberry Wheel Cleaner.... Dilute to whatever works for you, I use a 10/1 and a 5/1 for Stubborn Spots... Non-Acidic and works a treat

Oooh i'm interested too, products and links please if possible:) Which sealer too ?

I really need to take them off & give them the once over, they get so dirty with the brake dust:dapprove:

As Andy has said Bilberry is the best option for you Clyro.

Sealer wise Craig, Poorboys is very very good. But good old EGP is just as good, with some 467 wax on top.

I still think that it should be as above Andy. But I go for Poorboys instead of EGP, then 476. WTF, having a mental mare, who makes 476 wax!!??!!

Didn't like that stuff due to the price in comparison to cleaning ability.

free with every set of poorly finished BENT rims! ;) lol

APC is more than enough for weekly washes. Infact if you maintain your car you shouldn't need anything, just soapy water.

G101 is also pretty good, bit stronger tho.

Above that you're lookin at the likes of Virosol, or Redberry.

G101 is good but needs diluted a bit more as it's acidic, would wipe off any brake dust tho imo.

As Scottish says, cleant them properly once, polish, seal, protect. Then soapy water is sufficient.
