please tell me it aint to bad
while driving this morning i lost all power then my car cut out. i checked under the bonet and found my aux belt had moved on the bottem pully causing it to slip. ( its still on there tho ) I tryed to start the car and nothing happened. will this of caused the cambelt to snap. my car is a 1.6 16v 2001. cam belt, aux belt etc were only change at the start of Jan aswel.

They can take the cambelt with them. Where was it done? Seems convient to have happened shortly after they've been changed.

It wont have snapped the cambelt, it will have made it jump. As the belt will have got between the belt and pullie so it'll have bent all the valves if you were driving along...
